Max Richard, MA, LPC, Ncc
Max is a Nationally Board Certified Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Retiring in 2018, he served 25 years in the U.S. Army. Max focuses on challenges resulting from trauma in individuals of all ages. Through a mix of relational neurobiology, attachment theory, and person-centered theory he aims to assist children, adolescents, and adults in understanding problematic behaviors. Max has specific training in high conflict divorce & Co-parenting Coordination, Synergetic Play Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Max is a clinical partner with the Headstrong Project.
